Fishing lures are wonderful animals. They are a species that can thrive in nearly every aquatic environment. Despite their rather small size, lures are pack hunters that have evolved a mutual relationship with humans to hunt fish they otherwise could not take down on their own. Thanks to selective breeding and highly varying genes, lures come in dozens of colors and morphs.

Lure biology, taxonomy, and husbandry is an exciting new field. This website aims to be an effective resource for both new lure caretakers and experienced owners.
